With more than a decade of experience as a firefighter, Sho brings a grounded, practical and relatable perspective to his work as a Student Intern at Trickett Counselling, practising under clinical supervision in Guelph.

His approach is collaborative and respectful, recognizing that each person brings different experiences, strengths, responsibilities and goals into counselling — with a particular understanding of the pressures faced by first responders, frontline workers and people in high-pressure careers.
